The Gallyon Holkham

THE CLASSIC ENGLISH GAME GUN, BUILT FOR THE FUTURE

For centuries, Holkham has been acknowledged as one of the world’s greatest shooting estates, fashioning many of the sport’s ancient traditions and codes.

Situated on the North Norfolk coast, the 25,000-acre estate is dedicated to the conservation practices upheld by all true sportsmen. The Holkham name is synonymous with the best of British gameshooting and Gallyon is proud to name its premier models after the estate by kind permission of The 8th Earl of Leicester.

The Holkham Estate and Gallyon partnership

The Earl of Leicester

The Holkham Estate and Gallyon share a longstanding East Anglian heritage. Holkham is widely acknowledged as the home of driven gameshooting in Britain, while Gallyon guns have been shot on our estate since the late 1780s.

Our two institutions share similar values of progress, quality and a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail, so I'm delighted the new premium Gallyon gun model will carry the Holkham name.  It is a wonderful example of the company’s craftsmanship.

I look forward to hosting events with Gallyon on the estate where these fine guns can be experienced fully, and one can see first-hand what a modern British gun can truly and reliably accomplish.”
